“If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it's not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That's why it's your path.”
- Joseph Campbell

Welcome TO THE

What to do when you find yourself presented with an opportunity you thought you’d flat-out reject but instead you find yourself curious. If you’re here it’s likely because your friend Sam, or your colleague Melissa or your great aunt Sue invited you to take a look at her network marketing business. (groan) It happens to […]

Over the weekend I was listening to a podcast interviewing Marie Forleo about her new book, Everything if Figureoutable. In the interview, Marie talked about perfectionism and what she had to say hit me between the eyes. Prior to Balanced Entrepreneur and everything I’ve worked on with the book, the website, this blog and now the course […]

If presented with two options: living a balanced life versus an unbalanced one, most of us would choose balance. Right? Right. So why then do so many of us give up on the idea or find ourselves frustrated when we’re feeling out of balance? Why do so many of us feel that balance is an […]

I had an epiphany recently while on vacation with my family in Florida. I was being pulled in two different directions; staying present with my family and work. For years the thing that held me back from writing, or even starting a book, was the idea that I wouldn’t have enough to say. When I would think about writing a book, the first question that always came to mind was “how?” How do you start with nothing and fill pages upon pages with […]

I was able to stay present. I truly felt grateful and aware of the blessings in my life.

You can expect little or much, either way you might be right

At what point does this become a self-fulfilling prophecy?

I needed to upgrade my expectations.

Self-Love

That’s why at 35 years old I’ve thrown out the measurements, the new fad diet, and the fitness goals and I’m choosing to love myself today, just how I am.

my biggest priority this year

The task which hinders your task, is the task.

We imagine a life where we have more, do more, and live more fully. We play the “I’ll be happy when…” card and it’s a lie.  The truth is, you’ll never be happy in the future if you can’t learn to be happy in the present. Exactly where you’re at today is exactly where you need to be.

Most of us have heard that you’re exactly where you need to be and your journey is purposeful. Yet, many of us want to be further.
